B.Tech First Year

The 100% admissions to the B.Tech Program would be made on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) .The admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
15 % Management admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counselling based on the merit of AIEEE Rank.
NRI Seats: Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI’s who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities. 


Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to IInd Year)

Seats Distribution: 10% of the total sanctioned intake would be reserved for the Diploma holders.
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed the 3-4 years of Diploma after 10+2 in any stream of Engineering and Technology with minimum of 60% aggregate or Graduate in  
                    B.Sc with valid UK-SEE score.
Procedure for Lateral Entry:
The admission to the B.Tech Second year through lateral entry would be made by the counselling organized by State Counselling Board.


BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) 

No. of Seats: 60
Eligibility Criteria:       
The 100% admissions to the BCA Program would be made on the basis of Percentage Obtain by Candidate in 10+2 and also Mathematics as compulsory subject. Admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counselling based on the merit. 

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) 

No. of Seats: 60
Eligibility Criteria:
The 100% admissions to the BBA Program would be made on the basis of Percentage Obtain by Candidate in 10+2 in all Streams.

• The registration (For All Courses) fee is Rs.500 which is to be paid in the form of DD/Cash favouring “JB Institute of Technology” and payable at Dehradun.
• Registration will not entitle the candidates to be called for counselling. The discretion of the admission committee of the Institute will be final in all matters concerning the list of candidates called for interview as well as those offered admission.
• Registration processes is same for all Courses/ Programmes.
• For admission to the General category seats, Uttarakhand Technical University advertises the counselling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen in www.uktech.in.
Call for Counselling
The candidates to be called for counselling will be informed through post. Their list and all the relevant details shall also be posted on the Institute website.
