 In JBIT we also take care of your health, as a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Regular exercise enhances the sense of mental well-being along with the general physical health. 

 

Exercises

Exercises that demand total body involvement improve and maintain fitness most effectively.
So we have a well equipped gymnasium available for hostellers and day scholars where you can pump up some iron for those muscles.

Membership (optional) of this club to students is offered at highly subsidised rate.

☼Internet Facility☼

Internet Facility 

 The entire campus is Wi-Fi and internet facility is available to the students. Students can also avail the internet service any where from the Hostel.

 The Wi-Fi Setup 

 The Wi-Fi Alliance themselves invoked the term "Wireless Fidelity". The typical Wi-Fi setup contains one or more Access Points (APs) and one or more clients.

Wi-Fi networks support roaming, in which a mobile client station such as a laptop computer can move from one access point to another as the user moves around a building or area.


Backbone 

 At JBIT , there has been a large investment in an ultra high-speed Fiber Optic Backbone for networking across the campus.



Wireless Connectivity 

Wireless connectivity shall be given at different locations to give internet access to faculties. Internet facilities are provided throughout the campus through leased lines.




Bandwidth    

  Institute offers a campus-wide 2 Mbps (AIR-NET) Optical fibre information network that provides access to several online specialist and public domain information services.
Access to internet services can be gained through library and administration section equipped.

Medical Attention

J.B IT has fully functional Health center to cater the needs of Students & staff. The Health center has well qualified & experienced doctor for medical examination. 

 

Free Treatment 

All the students are given the free treatment for day to day medical problems. No consultation fee is charged.
The college has facility of a leading Doctor visiting the students regularly in the college premises during college timings. 


Emergency
 
For emergency situation the students are sent to authorized & recognized hospital for specialized treatment after giving first-aid.
During off time, leading Hospitals and Doctors are on call to attend to any need of medical attention. Leading Doctors on panel are on call to reach to campus within 5 minute.

Banking Facility

To make banking easier for the students of JBIT, under an arrangement with the PNB/OBC the students are provided with the very zero balance facility along with the computerized passbooks and ATM card. 

Educational Loan 
The institute have a tie-up with two leading banks of the city for the convenience of a student to apply education loan.
Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) offers education loan facilities to the students of JBIT at very economical interest rates and the students can make use of such facilities after fulfilling the simple terms and conditions of the bank.

Atm Facility 
  To facilitate the banking facility for the student as well as faculty staff and other college family members, we have the computerized banking with 24 hr ATM facility in the college premises.


Student's Part
  Once the offer letter is issued to a student he or she are free to speak to their choice of bank representative for the loan queries.



Bank List 
The institute have a tie-up with leading banks of the city like Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC).

PCO
The Institute has a separate PCO for making STD and ISD calls for the convenience of both staff and students. 


Postage 

The Selaqui and Sahaspur Post office is located not very far away from the campus. The post office offers complete postage services such as regular mail service, express mail service, registered mail service, package mail service and money orders during business hours.
The Institute also has a letter box facility on the campus. There is a courier facility by First-Flight available on campus wherein a person from First-Flight comes to the college on a daily or weekly basis to collect the couriers.

Transport Facility 

Although a public transport exists, JBIT has its own buses for the convenience of the students and staff, for to and fro transport at a very nominal yearly charge. Bus fleet which provides the transport facility from nearby cities to campus from specific pickup points predefined as per the convenience of the students. Although, the campus is also very well connected by the local public transports.

 

 

Benifits

 All the Bus Drivers have been Provided with cellular Phones so that their location may be enquired any time.

 

 

Timings

All the buses reach the campus before 9:15am so that students and faculty get ready to attend the classes at 9:30am.

The buses leave the campus between 4:30pm to 5:00pm, which helps students to reach home early and safe.

☼Online Fees Deposit System☼

This facility has been provided to make it convenient for the students or their guardians to deposit the fee in any prescribed branch of PNB Bank. Thus the parents can deposit the fees in their hometown also.


Digital Identities
The students are issued standard digital Smart cards with special bar coding facility. These cards automate the process of lending and return of books in the library, controlled entry to limited access areas like the hostel campus, cafeteria, computer labs and college transport.

Hostel  

The institute has a full fledged on campus hostel facility for boys and girls. To cater to the accommodation needs of students, the institute has boys hostel blocks with a capacity of over 200 students and a girls hostel block with a capacity of over 100 students. 

  Facilities 

The students admit in the  JBIT from all parts of the country. There are two hostels in this institute. One each of it are for boys and girls have the separate one.The hostels are in perfect shape and provide all the basic facilities to the students. Each hostel has got its own mess. Food available is delicious and the menu is decided by the students themselves.


Sports & Gym 
Each hostel has heating system, own recreation hall with badminton court and table tennis tables. There is a separate gym for the boys and girls with the latest machines for their work out. Internet facility has been provided in every room of each host.

 

Indoor & Outdoor  

Hostel  accompanied with sports ensures an all round development of the students. Facility for both indoor and outdoor  games is available.
Table-tennis, basketball, football, volleyball etc. are offered in the college campus. Sport events are held both at college level and national level.

Studio Apartments 
The JBIT hostel facilities are Studio style apartments- one of its kind in North India, with ultra modern amenities. Each apartment comprise of a common room, bathrooms and three rooms (each being shared by two students).
The hostel mess is equipped with modern appliances that serve pure vegetarian, nutritious and hygienic food. The wardens reside in the hostel campus and look after the students. We are deeply concerned about the safety and security of our students – the hostels have round the clock security and students are expected to abide by the hostel rules.

Our Mess is set inside a cool modern interior that offers a casual yet stylish dining atmosphere. There are separate dining halls for boys and girls.
Students will have a variety of Cuisines as per their choice and request. Indian, Chinese and continental food will be served with veg. and non.veg dishes at highly subsidised rates.


Service
These centers serve excellent meals, snacks and other cuisine in a hygienic, decent and spick and span atmosphere.
A dedicated and trained team of chefs, cooks and supporting staff make sure that cleanliness, tasteful variety and perfect timing are matters of priority.   

Cafeteria  
 The campus has an all- day cafeteria which ensures good refreshments for the students so that they can unwind after  a busy day.
Food! The mere thought of it makes you go crazy. 


Catering
In the lap of lush green mountains Cafeteria is the place for all. A sip of ICE-TEA and you will get a different feeling of JBIT.
The cafeteria is professionally managed by a special catering company, which is responsible for providing healthy and hygienic meals all the time.
