Fee structure is subject to the decisions of Govt. Free Fixation committees of Uttrakhand and other competent authorities. All fees are in Indian Rupees and payable through demand draft in favour of 'JB Institute of Technology' Dehradun payble at Dehradun.

☼Admission Criteria☼

B.Tech First Year

The 100% admissions to the B.Tech Program would be made on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) .The admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India) would be made through State level counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University.
15 % Management admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counselling based on the merit of AIEEE Rank.
NRI Seats: Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI candidates.NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by the NRI’s who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from an institute situated outside India which is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities. 


Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to IInd Year)

Seats Distribution: 10% of the total sanctioned intake would be reserved for the Diploma holders.
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed the 3-4 years of Diploma after 10+2 in any stream of Engineering and Technology with minimum of 60% aggregate or Graduate in  
                    B.Sc with valid UK-SEE score.
Procedure for Lateral Entry:
The admission to the B.Tech Second year through lateral entry would be made by the counselling organized by State Counselling Board.


BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) 

No. of Seats: 60
Eligibility Criteria:       
The 100% admissions to the BCA Program would be made on the basis of Percentage Obtain by Candidate in 10+2 and also Mathematics as compulsory subject. Admissions are made directly by the Institute by conducting Institute level counselling based on the merit. 

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) 

No. of Seats: 60
Eligibility Criteria:
The 100% admissions to the BBA Program would be made on the basis of Percentage Obtain by Candidate in 10+2 in all Streams.    




Note 
• Detailed information related to Counselling can also be seen in www.uktech.in
• The registration (For All Courses) fee is Rs.500 which is to be paid in the form of DD/Cash favouring “JB Institute of Technology” and payable at Dehradun.
• Registration will not entitle the candidates to be called for counselling. The discretion of the admission committee of the Institute will be final in all matters concerning the list of candidates called for interview as well as those offered admission.
• Registration processes is same for all Courses/ Programmes.
• For admission to the General category seats, Uttarakhand Technical University advertises the counselling schedule in the National dailies like Times of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can also be seen in www.uktech.in.
Call for Counselling
The candidates to be called for counselling will be informed through post. Their list and all the relevant details shall also be posted on the Institute website.

Scholarship

JBIT encourages merit and performance of financially deserving students through a range of scholarship and fee concessions for different category instituted by the institute. 

Eligibility

* First five Candidates 10% tuition fee Free
* Candidate having All India (AIEEE rank) from 1 to 5,000 30% tuition fee Free
* Candidate having All India (AIEEE rank) from 5,001 to 15,000 25% tuition fee Free
* Candidate having All India (AIEEE rank) from 15,001 to 25,000 20% tuition fee Free
                    * Candidate having All India (AIEEE rank) from 25,001 to 50,000 15% tuition fee Free
                    * Candidate having 88% to 95% marks in 10+2 40% tuition fee Free 
                       (Only for UP, UK, CBSE)
Conditions
1. A candidate can take the benefit of only one scholarship schemes if he/she are fulfill both eligibility criteria (12th and AIEEE), Which is higher.

2. This scholarship scheme is applicable only for first year tuition fee.

Rules & Regulations 

 

 

  

 

* The students should reach the college in time.

* The students should come to college in uniforms / dress codified / provided by the college authority.
* The students should attend all classes. If the attendance of any student falls below 75% (65% on medical / College representation ground) he/she will not be allowed to sit for the University Examination.
* The students should maintain absolute discipline inside the class room as well as the college premises.
* The students are not allowed to form any type of unauthorized union / meeting.
* No student is allowed to entertain outsiders inside the premises of the college without prior permission from the college Authorities.
* Carrying Weapons of any form inside the college premises is prohibited. It is a punishable offence.
* Smoking, drinking alcohols, taking intoxicants and drugs are strictly prohibited inside the college premises.
* No student is allowed to come to college premises after taking intoxicants or alcohols.
* No student is allowed to create disturbance in any manner whatsoever inside the examination hall during the examination sessions. If any such report is received from the invigilator/ superintendent/ supervisor, the student will be punished as deem fit, including expulsion from the college without assigning any reason whatsoever.
* No student is allowed to pass any derogative remarks or abuse / use filthy language or un-parliamentary words to any Teaching and non-teaching staffs and junior/senior, or to any other colleague, or to any girl students of the college.
* Ragging or harassment of fresher or juniors by seniors of the college anywhere, in any form, is strictly prohibited. In any case of ragging, the college will lodge police complaint against the miscreant which will be dealt with as per law. College may also impose penalty as deem fit. The maximum punishment is expulsion from thee college, College authorities have all such power to award any punishment to the student without assigning any reason or even without giving any opportunity to defend. All such cases will be intimated to the university, which may lead to cancellation of Regd. No. of the concerned student.
